Huawei Mate 10 Series Powered by Kirin 970

Huawei has released its new Kirin 970 processor at the German IFA2017 conference on Sep 2. Later, Huawei Official also announced a new poster, which showing that Huawei Mate 10 will be released in Munich on October 16, and it will adopt a full screen design without borders. What's more, Mate 10 and Mate10 Pro will be the first model equipepd with the HUAWEI Kirin 970 processor.

Kylin 970 is the world's first artificial intelligence processor with built-in neural network unit (NPU). It uses 10nm TSMC process and octa core design, 4 x Cotex-A73 2.4GHz + 4 x Cotex-A53 1.8GHz, matched with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU core (12 chips). The NPU computing power is up to 1.92TFP16 OPS. At the same time, it is built-in double IDP (support motion detecting and enhance under low light). Support LPDDR4X memory, UFS2.1 flash storage, HDR10, 4K@60 frame photography and LET Cat.18 specification.

Judging from Huawei's official poster, Mate 10 will not only be equipped with the kirin 970 processor, but also adopt a full-screen design. According to the previous news, it will use a 6.2 inch 18:9 full screen (over 90% screen ratio), at least 4000mAh capacity battery. And the rear dual leica cameras has been upgraded to the third generation, featured with 20 million black & white + 12 million colour scheme, also support laser focus. HUAWEI Mate 10 mobile will be built in 6GB memory, and pre-installed with EMUI 6.0 which is based on the latset Android 8.0 operating system.
In addition, Mate 10 series also contain a Mate 10 Pro version, and this new model phone will also provide 3D front lens, which is basically consistent with the iPhone 8 - can identify and scan the face. In view of it, this Huawei Mate 10 Pro price should not be cheap, and is expected to be over 5,000 yuan.
